Default FFR Customer Jeff Barfield’s Mk4 in Modified Mustangs & Fords Mag

Huge congrats and kudos to Factory Five customer Jeff Barfield as his turbocharged 600 HP Mk4 Roadster is profiled in Modified Mustangs & Fords Magazine by tech editor Mark Houlahan.

Jeff base his build on a 408 cu. in. Windsor block and used Borg Warner’s T6 83 mm turbo for boost. The article has a comprehensive list of the engine parts and other upgrades. Steve says that “with race gas and adjustable boost, the engine is capable of over 1,000 HP, but after the first ride, I got out of the car shaking and found my limit.”

The article is written by Modified Mustangs & Fords technical editor Mark Houlahan. Mark is a great editor, active on Ford, Mustang, and Factory Five internet forums, AND Mark has built his own Factory Five Mk3 Roadster, so he knows a think or two about build quality.
You can find the article in this month’s September 2012 issue of Modified Mustangs & Fords Magazine. Congratulations again to Jeff and big thanks to Mark Houlahan!

Mark has also written a series of articles about his own Factory Five build. You can read them on Modified Mustangs & Fords website by clicking here.
