Default Turn Signal & Ignition Switch location

Need help figuring out where these are supposed to be mounted, according to the book, when put in place don't look right. Any help and photos would be greatly appreciated.

Mine didn't either. Go to your local auto parts store and buy a replacement ignition switch. Mount it on the bottom of the face of the dash next to the steering wheel. The length of the ignition wires won't let you go too far. I mounted my blinkers next to the ignition in a two way- neutral switch.
