Talking New guy w/ a question

Hi there,

I'm new to this forum and thought that I would say hello to all you FFR owners out there. I don't have one yet, but I am planning on placing my order in the very near future (next month or two). Anyway, I have a quick question about wheels. I tried the search, no luck. Where, other than FFR, can I get 17" 5 or 6 spoke halibrand wheels? I'm not planning on using the spinners. Also, who makes them for FFR? Thanks!

I'd go with Compomotive myself. It's "close", easy to get and saves a ton of money.

Heres a link to their site.

These wheels aren't cheap, but compare these prices to Halibrands. I run 16" Compo's on my Excalibur (9.5" in front and 10" rim width in back). The "spinner" (for that "authentic" look) is held on with allen screws. My five bolt wheel pattern is the same as Mustang wheels. When racing I remove the Compos and bolt on "Ford" wheels/tires.

USA site:

Roughly: Halibrand $760 per wheel
Compo's $450 per wheel
