Any good hints on where to find a donor Mustang?...

My first post here, looking to purchase the 65 Coupe kit in a year or so. I'm looking for a Mustang donor car now so that I may take my time and rebuild the engine over the next year. Any ideas on where to find a 87-93 Mustang w/ manual trans on the east coast (NY/NJ/PA)? Are there any salvage yards that are known for having manual trans 5.0 mustangs that would be perfect for this project. Thanks for your help.

Scout the classifieds or check around with some towing companies, they may have one that they are ready to lean out.

Sir, try Muir Motorsports 1-908-246-6807 and ask for Paul (the owner). He does a lot of ford/mustang parts in NJ and should be able to help you out.

Try Insurance Auto Auctions http://home.iaai.com/. They have nationwide locations, you can view the cars they have in their yard on line, and you can even bid on line. I got 90% of my donor parts from a theft recovery I got there for $355!
