Factory Five parts - how and where to order ?
Hi, during the last couple of weeks I have tried to order a pair of headers and sidepipes directly from FactoryFive. I got a quote for the shipping costs (shipping goes to Switzerland). I placed my order and asked for an order confirmation. Since then they have not responded to any of my eMails. Of course, I have not yet given my credit card details. So I am not too much worried about it. Nevertheless, I think that's not the way they should treat their customers.
However, does anyone of you know where I can order the headers and the sidepipes ? Are there any other suppliers ?
Any support is highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Walter

Walter,
Factory Five is not really good at returning emails. Best to phone them directly and talk to someone on the phone. You may need to check in once in awhile after your order to make sure it has been followed up, but they will eventually get your order taken care of.
Which headers and sidepipes are you trying to order? Engine?

Walter,
If you watch the classified ads on ffcobra.com, these items come up for sale pretty regularly. You might even get a real deal on some that are ceramic coated like I did for my 351W.
There are also some other vendors on ffcobra.com that sell stainless sidpipes and other items for the factory five cars. Great wealth of information about the Factory Five cars on that site.

As Three Peaks said, you HAVE to call Factory five to get anything done. Nick Smith sells the polished Stainless sidepipes. I think the name of his company is Gas n Go. You can even try Tri-states . The vendors that sell these parts are going to be at www.ffcobra.com

I've never had a problem with Factory Five's service, much easier to call them. (They do have problems with email spam)

Yeah, Walter, like the rest said. FFR is very good over the phone. They have spam filters on their email so messages don't always get through.

Are the headers for the 302 different than the 351 headers from FFR?

If you have not given any Credit Card information then the order has not actually been placed. They will not be able to give a order confirmation on an order that has not been placed. I suggest that you call them on the phone and ask about the shipping charges. If they are acceptable place your order at that time, and give the person that you order your parts with your e-mail address and ask for an order confirmation to be sent to that address as soon as possible.
