Intake manifold ID
I am trying to ID the intake on 707 and coming up dry. There's a picture (not a great one) in my gallery.
It's a medium-riser, dual-plane, rough cast, and has no markings except a number at each cylinder and "Firing Order - [#'s]" on the #5 runner. It's sitting on Edelbrock Performer RPM heads.
Any clues? I guess I could bug Joe Lapine again...

I think you answered your own question. Looking at the pic it seems to be a MR intake.

I`ve got a medium riser Blue Thunder intake on my 427 Galaxie . Just went to the garage and looked at it . As you describe , it has the same markings in the same places . You probably have a BT intake .. mine is a dual quad unit .... and it outperforms the original intake by a wide margin . Mine has been mistaken many times for an original medium riser ... that`s how close they appear to each other .

The BT units I can find pix of are identical - except that it appears to be a high-rise, not a medium. Fine with me!
Anyone know where a specific manufacturer/product ID mark might be on a BT single-4V high rise?

I have a BT single-4v med rise. If I get a chance, I will look.

Here is a high res photo of my BT-4V med riser manifold. Not a perfect pic, but maybe it will be helpful. You should be able to zoom in quite a bit on this.

Thanks, that confirms I have a BT or an exact copy.
I also found that Danbury is listed as an authorized BT dealer... nuff sed!
And I just picked up a shiny new BG carb to put atop it, replacing the boggy Holley.

It can't be a BT, the distributor hole is in the right spot!
