Default Original FE Puke tank

Not beat up, just needs stripping and paint: $70 including US shipping.

I call that a "surge" tank, not a puke tank which mounts on the firewall.

or Expansion tank, which is what I believe it is called. I also have about 4-5 of those, one completely detailed and tested. I have them with caps and outlets on various sides.

Hi, "Allow me to introduce myself I'm a" (as the Rolling Stones once sang) first timer on this site and find it very informative and entertaining. I am another of those Aussies? Ozzys? that have infiltrated your community (with your permission), thanks. I have been playing with my car since 1996 and its still not on the road.
Im not shure if this is the right place to start a conversation such as this but the thread caught my eye as these tanks are called radiator header tanks here in oz and the were used to allow radiator coolant level to be higher than the highest point of the motor. This meant the full radiator could be mounted much lower and not suffer air pockets in the motor. These tanks are scarse here and cobra builders like to use them if they can. Freight seems to be a problem (not the cost) its just some people wont ship overseas even if freight is prepaid. I have had parts sent to me via UPS and I would be happy to purchase one or more if it can be arranged . I will now go and try to figure out a profile/build post.

JD, How many do you want? I currently have 6 in my garage, in various states of being. One is new, still in the Ford wrapper. I would be happy to sell and ship to the Land of Aus..

Well, if you have 6 then we are exactly alike. I have them in various conditions ranging from chrome plated to new in the ford box to a couple much like the one pictured above. Wish I had room on the walls to hang them!
