Default FE- FLAT surface valve covers ?

Is there any valve covers that have a flat top surface like the Ford small block, BBC ect. ?

I may have some custom laser engraving done, but I need the entire flat width of the cover to do so.

The pentroof, alum. 427, 428 ect... have the two angles.

Know of any custom, flat top covers ?

These do: http://www.cfrperformance.com/FORD_B..._p/hz-6526.htm

I've got them on my FE w/Erson rockers and they clear. I did have remove some of the flange to get them over the rockers.

Yep,... but it's one of those time things. With all I have to do with working on my Cobra, (making the dual fan assembly ect.) the new engine, sponsors, and racing the sprint car, I'm too full already.

building your own valve covers would fall under the "working on the Cobra" catagory....
If i knew how to weld aluminum i would do it for you Kevin.....

hehe,....yes but, it just adds something else to the "Cobra honey do list". I'd have to find & buy the aluminum, cut, bend weld, polish, which takes a lot of time. And, I would have to practice again, my tig welding would look like bird poop.

I have some that are like the ones in the link - the flange needs some clearancing for the ends of the rocker shaft when you use end stands but they are new and available cheap.....like $75 plus shipping if you are interested..

Default Try Gessford

I believe Gessford can make/source engraved valve covers for you (attached is a picture from their website--www.gessford.com).

Those look great. Beautiful tig work !
I know & like George but, the cost is fairly high, and I'm getting the engraving free as a sponsor for my side oiler build.
