Did you ever straighten out the routing of your spark plug wires?

That's right after I fix my handbrake, which partially works, but not on a hill.

What kind of call do those blue and red anodized fittings answer?

Has any one used the same remote filter set up on a small block? I bought the remote filter mount and the screw on piece to replace the filter on the block to make it easier to hook up the oil cooler. I'm still eyeballing the engine bay to see what will look best and yes I like the look of the red and blue fittings (Race Bling!!)

If you have a copy of "40 Years of Cobras" there is a gorgeous photo of a 427 standing alone and it shows a good view of the pump mounted remote oil filter.

I haven't seen it adapted to a small block but I plan to on my 351. If you use an Edlebrock water pump, it has tapped bosses that a fabricated mounting plate could be attached to.

Will the finishline oil filter mount also fit the 302 water pump?

No. The FE bracket for the remote oil filter is totally different than what would fit a small block.
However, see my previous posing.

I mounted mine on a Windsor on the front of the driver's side cylinder head. It is mounted on a piece of aluminum plate that stands out ahead of the cylinder head. The plate is attached with 3 studs using pieces of pipe as spacers.

There are a couple of pictures on page 2 of my gallery.
