Remote Thermostat

I'm still lining up my ducks for my motor build. I have been talking to a couple EFI guys about converting my Algon 8 stack . One of the questions is about the water outlet back to the radiator. The manifold doesn't have a thermostat outlet but has a couple of ports above the outlet ports on the front of the heads. It was suggested that I run a remote thermostat but I haven't been able to find any info on that. Anybody have any pointers here? Mfg? Pix?
