Default Finished my first FE !

It's done,

My first FE built is finished, engine is running pretty good, i love it.

What i did:
- bought a good block with used heads and intake
- cleaned and optimized the block for better oiling, added notches to the bores(352 service block) for the edelbrock rpm heads because there was a interference with valves and bore
- replaced all bearings by king bearings, modifed them before against shoulder wear
- cleaned rods and pistons, filed moly rings to fit
- checked the complete scat stroker kit for wear
- turned the aluminum flyweel because of hot spots from former use
- replaced the rocker shafts by earsons
- installed custom hydro roller and roller lifters
- added custum length pushrods
- modified the edelbrock rpm intake for better flow and installed rear breather basket with cover and pcv
- disassembled, cleaned the heads, lapped the seats, shimmed the springs
- used a mc leod hydro release bearing and ram clutch
- added canton windage tray
- milled the rear main for shortened arp main studs to fit the tray and aluminum cobra oil pan, cutted a thread to the rear pan wall to install the smith mech oil temp sensor
- added a precision oilpumps pump
- used arp hardware all around
- topped the engine by cobra 427 covers
- converted a msd rtr dizzy to crab cap
- used edelbrock water pump
- installed black powder coated march pulleys
- went with a quickfuel 750 vac sec
and so on and so on.

I love it, sounds great, goes like hell and is exactly the engine i had in mind for so long years

And it is not oiling, at least not after 300 miles....

Thanks Barry for the parts as cam, lifters, pushrods, the earsons and your overseas support by phone!

Thanks Nick for organizing and shipping the dizzy conversion kit to Germany!

O.K. finally my FE powered Crendon 427 is gone and I started work on rebuilding a AC MK IV with a Small Block Ford 302 in.

Thanks for the support from you all by your many FE posts over the last two years. I will appear in the Small Block Engine Forum soon
