Default FE Headers for under car exhaust

What headers do you use, has anyone tried Sanderson headers or is there a collector that could slid on the current side pipe headers together the exhaust under the frame?

I was looking at the Sandersons but think they would need swapping sides. Get some and try them John, their quality and service are great.

sandersons are a no go. They will custom make you a set if you send them a sample or mock up of what you want.

Hey Racco do you think you could cut one tube out for steering clearance and redo just that one?

If not looking primarily for authenticity you might try checking with ERA. They basically use the same header system as for their sidepipe cars but use a separate lower section that turns and mates everthing together in a collector for an undercar system. I'm pretty sure they are sourced out to a fabricator and they might be willing to provide contact information. Maybe.

Hi Jon,

We installed the Sanderson headers for undercar exhaust 6yrs ago. We had to swap sides so the pipes are pointing down, also had to cut off 6inches of straight pipe then welded on a 21/2inch collector. The guys from Sanderson were fantastic, they supplied everything that I needed. Here's a hint for you: I bought mine uncoated, did the cutting and welding then sent them out to get coated.

Default Slip on collector

Does anyone make a short slip on collector (would look like the collector on a shorty header) it could slip on the end of standard Cobra SC headers and a pipe could be made to come from the muffler to the collector?
