Default Information on Al Gonzales Mechanical fuel injection

While cleaning out my grandpas shop I came across this intake. Which is a mechanical fuel injection with Al Gon stamped on it..I've done some research on it and believe it fits a Fe 427motor ..My problem is coming up with what its worth since there's limited info to go with..Anyone on here have any ideas or know where I could get more info..its in great shape. But doesn't have the stacks..linkage and butterflies work freely.

There's tons of posts over on the FE forum regarding the Gonzales Mechanical FI setup, including what they've sold for on Ebay, Carlisle, etc. along with pics. Just put ALGON up in the search box and it'll dump any number of threads for you. Click here: 332-428 Ford FE Engine Forum

depends what it actually fits.....LR, MR, HR?

i've had several of them over the years, if it needs any work to the shafts and its missing parts....it can get pricey to rebuild..

not knowing what heads it fits 500-1500.....these units are race only, as the fuel metering is by a pill or restriction in the body to set the jetting.

some pics of the port size should tell the tale of what it fits....

I just sold my manifold complete with stacks, front cover, cam drive adapters, and 2 pumps, an original pump and a Hilborn. I had it converted to Enderle with new distribution/metering block. The manifold was basically unused as I got it in the late 70's and ran it a couple times and put it on the shelf. There are a couple pix of it in my gallery photo's.

I bought one (just the manifold) out of Texas for $250, including shipping.

Personally I think I paid too much.
