427 SOHC Cammer in ERA
A friend recently installed new cams and tuned it. It has Ford Aluminum heads, 14:1 compression & 1150 dominator. Check out the video.

Nice. Ford aluminum heads? As in - original aluminum heads?
Many here will be more interested in your mag Halibrands.

Maybe it is because it is a SOHC engine, but the last time I head 14:1, it didn't sound like that. The engine I heard had a mean nasty crackling sound from the compression.

Sounds more like 11:1 than 14:1.

Other interesting points are the custom firewall without the harness exiting in the center, the custom footboxes for the Cammer and the Dominator intake for a Cammer. Maybe BT makes it??
Be nice if the OP got on and gave us some tech on the car.
Oh- did I mention? The MAG halibrands??

Wonder why a guy posts a 'Hey look at me' thread, gets a lot of positive comment and questions-but has not the decency to acknowledge them??

Very nice!! Jay Leno has a Cammer on his Cobra. I heard of one other car in SC about 15 years ago having a Cammer, but that's it! Enjoy!!

You're new here. Hacksaw Bill Anziani built that Carolina car, ERA 275. Elric and Full Throttle Al are Cammer owners. Bill Malone is trying to sell his CSX Cammer. Darrin got KC to build one for his KMP. Barry may still have his fresh build looking for a home. There are others I'm sure.
