What bolt make and who's gaskets??
Danr55 I set mine with aluminum heads to 30 pounds of torque with antiseize. Doesn't matter if they are grade 3,5,8, or arp exhaust kit antispin off bolts with clips. If the motor and exhaust are not coming off every year, spray the gaskets( copper or white ones with copper spray from lock-tite and let dry, do both sides. In the old days we dropped Mr. Gasket white ones in a bucket of water for overnight and installed them wet. heat from motor dryed them out and got many years before a leak. For guys doing alot more R&R of the motor, high temp orange RTV from prematex works great also. easy to remove and reuse. Some guys just add more to what is there.
Antiseize any bolt around the exhaust. I like the ARP bolts for my cars because of the material they are made from and the small head for getting into bottom bolts with a wrench where room is limited.
The anti loosen kit from arp works great with a plate and "c" clip to stop from loosing bolts from vibration over time. Torque once and forget them. I have seen other guys use grade 3 bolts and drill the heads and install safety wire. Looks really cool, takes some time to wire up and works great. Rick L. Ps the numbers you are lookng for are for iron exhaust manifolds that weight up to 50# each. Make sure you have good alignment of the side pipes and a good heavyduty muffler and or tail pipe mount to carry the load of the exhaust. Want 1/2 the weight to be carried by the exhaust rear hangers not the header bolts. There is a liitle give with motor movement in the car. If running a high HP motor and not solid mounts, and if you have the room drill out and install nut, bolt and washers to limit motor twist. Drill a hole of 3/8" through the mount and tighten until free play is gone. Nyloc nuts or aircraft nuts work the best.
