FE Race & Reunion UPDATE - classes, payout, rain date, etc...

Today Jody and I met with Beaver Springs track owner, Beaver Bob about particulars with the FE Race & Reunion.

Racing classes & payout: Pro FE (Quick 8) 1- $300, RU - $200, Semi loser - $100, 1st round loser - $50 w/special quick 8 FE decal, trophy 1st & 2nd.

Hot FE (12.99-quicker) 1- $200, RU - $100, Semi - $50, trophy 1st & 2nd.

Cool FE (13.00-slower) 1- $200, RU - $100, Semi - $50, trophy 1st & 2nd. Note, we still are looking for sponsorship to fulfill this class payout.

These classes will require tech and proper safety equipment.

FE time shots. Time shots will go on all throughout the day. Make sure your car is safe and all you'll need is belts and helmet if faster than 13.99.

Car show (FE powered only) 1st, 2nd & 3rd place all receive trophies.

Rain date is the day after, Sunday 4/28. Another cool date!

We are working on some top FE match racers, best of 3.

After all racing is completed there will be a ride along. The cars that paid to race or time shots will line up in the staging lanes and spectators and friends can take 1/8 mile runs. If you have a helmet bring it, you never know. We'll try to work through the helmets issue.

A bonus for any NSS racer. If you race the FE Race & Reunion Beaver Bob will offer a $50 bonus if you run the York Nostalgia races on July, 14, 2013.

There will be special event t-shirts for sale and event decal will be available.

Remember that admission is free to all spectators and car show entrants.

$40 fee for all racers and time shot drivers.

Less than 2 months away. Make plans to come on out and see a ton of FE's. Heard a rumor the owner of Al Joniec's '68 CJ Mustang is bringing the car up from Florida. Many other rare FE's plan to be there, will you?
