All of the major FE block manufacturers switched foundries last year. That should tell you something.
Well I am sticking with the FE since that is what i already have. Wish me luck with the next batch. reliability with new parts is what i am after.

Thanks. I did talk to prior to pulling my engine. You suggested a couple re builders closer to me (Arizona) since I already owned the engine. I want to take this moment to thank you.
I read many of your comments regarding the FE's here. My guy is aware of many of the hurdles with them too.
In your opinion, once it does get properly built, is it good and reliable?

FYI Shelby Engine Co (Denbeste motorsports) is casting and machining all their blocks. Full warranty... Joe the builder is the best in the business. They are building hundreds of FE motors for inventory... no affiliation... just impressed with the shop and joe
