Default Shelby Logo on FE Harmonic Balancer

I am trying to obtain information about a Shelby Logo engraved 427 FE Harmonic Balancer. Does anyone know who the manufacturer was and/or who the distributor was? I have posted a few photos of it including the original shipping box it was in when I received it. I know it sounds a little weird that I received it but don't know where it came from???? I found the shipping box inside an engine crate and 427 I bought from a race shop in San Clemente, CA back in 2010. The engine shop is: Bob Small Racing. I have contacted them several times but they don't seem to be able to tell me anything. I have also contacted the race shop in Vegas that is shown on the return address of the package. Nothing there either. I have also contacted the Shelby Engine Company, nothing there either. The balancer is new, never installed. Any information, anyone? Thanks in advance, because I am betting several of you gearheads know something about it. Bob.

who did you talk to at Shelby Engine Co? Talk to Bill. He bought the company and move it up to windsor CA, maybe it was made from the old shelby engine co?

For an extra fee, Shelby would add timing degree marks to a balancer back in the day. Dont know if that the case here though.

Shelby manufactures very few items. Most all of their stuff is rebranded from an existing manufacturer. I would start with Fluidamper.

Not true,
Shelby Engine Co. makes the manifolds, blocks, water pumps, heads, timing covers, maybe more, does all the machine work and assembly/dyno testing all in house. Bill Denbeste has built an impressive Cobra facility for sure

Correct. I got to tour Carroll's garage in Gardena. The engine company was also in the same warehouse. They built a block while I was watching. The CNC machine was the size of a railroad engine. I couldn't fathom how much electricity that thing must have taken while it was whipping that block around.

Bill moved the entire operation to windsor CA, New machines, new castings... very nice.

I stand corrected. I was thinking along the lines of the late-model stuff going through Las Vegas. I wasn't thinking about the engines and related parts.
