Brent,

I will likely never build another engine, but I still have the interest. With what ever time I have left, my focus is on setting my family in a position to be able to function after I am gone.

That all said, a curious question. Assuming good aggressive ramps, how would that engine run with say a 232/238 duration @ 0.050" and say a 0.600 inch lift or so? Also what would it do with a 4.25" stroke? That would be a very mild mannered cam with that much displacement.

Aggressive ramps don't really get you much except for valve float and noise on a hydraulic roller. A good bit of my cam business is getting guys more horsepower with less aggressive lobes.

With that being said, a 445 with TFS heads and one of my hydraulic rollers will make 550 hp and 590 lb-ft with 10.25:1, peaking at 5500.
