Thumbs up very cool toys on e-bay

But what is up with the automatic Transmission. Although many of you old guys might see the wisdom of such a configuration..

Hey, he said it was a 390 block.
And the engine may have been 'removed' from a Shelby. He didn't say that the engine was the originally installed one.

There are a lot of mishmash engines showing up, the result of 40 years worth of tinkering and modifying. Anyone here running a virgin original unmodified bonestock engine?

As long as they call out the actual parts used, it should be up to the buyer whether the sum of the parts is worth the price offered.

As for this engine, my big question would be, what crank was in there as that was never specifically stated and it was apparently cross-drilled, something you normally see only on steel 390/427 cranks.

I do think there should be more reaction from ebay as far as deceptive labeling though. A title such as 'Ford FE engine with Shelby parts' might be more acceptable.
