ditto.. what does the advance curve look like? If it's pinging in any gear at any throttle position you have gone too far.. 10-16 is a good initial but at 11:1 you will need a hill to coast it down ot get it to fire over about 13 initial.. 36 is safe at 2800-3000 but if you can come in quicker and top out at 38 overall you might try it.. Please do not try too much over 38 at 11:1.. You just don't need that much with those slugs..
If you search this forum and find a guy that claims to run 45-55 don't buy it..
