oil pressure relief plunger and spring

Tell the truth, how many have put these in backwards???, I did, and could not understand why my oil pressure was 20 at idle and 45 at max. Whoa!!!....... the spring first and then the plunger!!.
No damage thank goodness.

I did it once. After having to pull the trans and bellhousing out to put it in right I will never make that mistake again!

It does look like it should go in the wrong way though, doesn't it?

Your right! all it takes is having to pull that transmission and bell housing to learn a valuable lesson!, and again your right, it does look right, going in the wrong way??.
