It all comes down to HOW and WHERE you drive. I'm running Autocross and the lighter smaller cars ALWAYS seem to have an advantage. I wouldn't even bother "going there" with a BB.

By the way, I'm secretly envious of the BB crowd, ha ha! For sheer knock your socks off looks and that "bad to the bone" feeling, you can't beat them (unless your doing autocross)!

Mr. Fixit, I can't imagine how tight that must be. Just curious, do you mean no Mopar at all or no elephant? Not disagreeing, just wondering if for the same reasons.

Unless you can afford an alloy FE 427, SB is the way to fly for track use generally depending on track design, as iron BB's don't enhance the handling at all, there are some that claim with 50/50 weight distribution it doesn't matter - well bulls**t.
If you want tire ripping grunt for the road, the BB's definitely do it.

Cheers Ant (BB fan but don't like the broken axles and poor handling)

Want white knuckles? Go with a 427FE....there's nothing like it......especially if you want to know how Dick Smith feels every time he lights the fire under HIS foot. :0
