Default C6ME Block

Looking at a 428 Block with c6me code. The seller claims it's from a Police Interceptor or Ford Galaxie. Is this any other questions or markings I can find out about to see if it is a "true" PI block.

TIA.

Default pull the pan....

and see if it has the reinforced webbing,

then measure the rod bolts.

PI's have 13/32 diameter bolts.

What about the factory aluminum intake, is it on there ????

Good luck,
Bill Cook

I will check it out.

Thanks.

Not sure what info I can get as it long distance and I will not be able to drive. Also, it's a standard bore block.

Are there any other code type indicators I can ask about?

That's the only ways I know of to check the block.

You can't trust the fifth digit (P) of the car, engines got changed all of the time.

Great to hear it's STD.

Cheers,
BC
