Talking New 427 vs. Old 427-Take Two

Mr Mike (ERA626) asked the question:
Lets throw this one to the wolves for debate.
Lets assume that you are using a 427 FE
Would you rather have a 30 + year old overpriced, rusted, machined, tweaked old Iron 427 s/o to be "original or a new aluminum Carroll Shelby 427.
About the same price.
Mike

...the voting machine broke; we had hanging chad.

Mike is entitled to a recount.

This issue has supplanted Real vs Replica and BB vs. SB in popularity, so get out and vote.

(...I promise to start a solids vs. hydraulics argument in December)

How many votes do I get?
Can I vote by proxy for my customers?
Can I vote for two?
Can I vote for Turk?
Do I have to abstain?
I want to vote more than once...it's not fair!
George

George Anderson WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN??? On vacation? Come on George, I know you have an iron block in your car, but which one if you had a choise would go in your next cobra??? Be honest, I know you are. You build both. Give us a Engine builder point of view. Next car would be all around car. Automatic is standard. Rick LAKE
