In my case, I was jetted too fat to begin with, and adding the 110 race gas for fun only caused it to run more rich, like adding 6 jets sizes, etc. My car does not ping, and there was no need to add race fuel - I just tried it for fun while I was at Sears Point a few weekends back. My plugs went from Tan to Rich BLACK just like that. I would not imagine that it would harm your vehicle, but there is a chance you would experience the same thing if you are running on the rich side today...
