An easier way might be to look at water pump pulley spacers and alternator brackets.
If your new balancer was to be a direct replacement, it should fit. However, you might look at the spacer sleeve on the crank nose behind the balancer. As long as it fits the oil seal in the timing cover, it could be shortened to accommodate your set-back needs.
