What is it worth?
I am wanting to trade my Ford C7AE Aluminum 4 BBl medium riser manifold for another set up. Mine is in excellent condition (no helicoils-no welded places), so I was wondering what I should expect to receive for my manifold only.
Thanks for your help?

Clois,
I have just spent the the last couple months looking on e-bay daily. I ended up finding a mid riser 2x4 with carbs for 855. I seem to remember the single fours going around 350 to 450. are those med rise heads on that 428???

Yes, I am running the Edelbrock Alum heads (Med Riser). I was thinking of selling or trading my intake manifold with either a Holley 750 4v w/ elec choke or an Edelbrock 750 4v w/ elec choke.
I just wanted to get an idea what my set up is worth.
Thanks,
I was beginning to wonder if anyone in this group still had an opinion.

a dollar and a half !!!!
Hey,
Does it have the hole for the oil fill??
I sold my 428 PI intake for 460.00 on ebay.
It was cheery, like yours.
Ask at least 400.00 for just the intake.
Do you know if anyone is going to set up a
CLUBCOBRA area at the Tulsa Shelby meet???
We all need to get together for a few adult beverages!!
Cheers,
Bill Cook

No oil fill. But there will be several ocassions for adult beverages at the Tulsa meet. I have a black trailer and there will be two white 20 footers on either side. Lew Payne from Wisconsin brings his weedeater powered margarita mixer. We usually fire it up after the track closes. There are usually 20 or so other drivers over for drinks and conversation. Please drop by everyone is welcome.
We are all going to Omaha May 3 and 4 for a track session sponsored by the Northwest SAAC. It would be nice if you could join us then too! Long track sessions and limited to 80 cars. I think the cost for Saturday and Sunday is $250.

Piston Count!
Is a "weedeater powered margarita mixer" applicable to a guys total piston count as a measure of "manliness"?

Ernie,
I am not sure about the manliness part but the "Weed Eater Margarita mixer" does not require electricity so it is very versitile and a crowd pleaser too. It is amazing how many people will stop by for a minute or hour ----I guess you could say it is a real ice breaker!
Come by some time drinks are always on the house.
