Just a note, this is in Lynwood Washington, the same city that a certain engine builder who hosed me is in. I'd be interested to find out who built it before I touched it.

Brent,

As you may know, I live in the north end. I am going to freshen my 427 this year just to assure myself it is put together right. I have talked to a couple of builders ,one of which is in lynnwood (my back yard) and would really apreciate a heads up if I need to avoid someone. If you dont want to name names on this forum ,could you send me an e-mail? thanks Karl

Have to wonder what the compression ratio is...

small chamber edelbrock heads on a 4.25" bore and flat-top pistons...

Hi Guys
The engine on ebay belongs to me.....Jim Green has nothing to do with this motor, but I can tell you that the guy who honed the cylinders used to be the shop foreman at Jim Greens but that was way back in the funny car days. Ron Moses is one of the best engine machinist I know.

Compression ratio is up there....11.5 to 12 to 1 Those small chamber edelbrocks have had a lot of grinding done to them and they ain't that small anymore
