Default Eagle rods

Do Eagle supply a H-beam rod for direct replacement in a FE engine? Does anyone know the website address?

Can anybody recommend a good hyd. cam for a 428 with edlebrook heads, for a good tick over and a possible 3.07 rear end and w/r toploader. Comp ratio no more than 10:1.
thanxs guys

Default Comp Cam

My 428 has a Comp 270H THe engine does'nt make a load of HP but the torque is great.. Approx 325hp.. 485 Torque. I know it's not 500 but it runs great... I'm limited by a POS low rise 427 intake.
No Scoop hood....

Default Eagle Rods For Fe are available

Eagle does indeed make a replacement H-Beam rod as a direct bolt in for an Fe. I thought I read in the National Dragster where that particular rod is now a legal replacement for the stock rods in the stock and up classes. I've used them and they are 6.490" long.

Fe's are fast but "Y-Blocks" are fun when they run in the 9.60's at 135 mph.

cobra_dude Eagle makes a bolt in but you want to have the balance checked on the crank assembly when done. Summit and Jegs are within dollar of each other. The weight on these rods is 30-40 grams lighter. You need to check on this. I have a set in my motor and have had no problems. 6,500 rpm limit on my motor. Good luck If you are looking for regular rods, try FFP in Cali, they are into FE parts mostly or put a wanted in here, someone must have a set of FE's in good shape for sale Rick Lake
