Default THROTTLE BODY Injection ?

Hey guys, I'll be rebuilding my 428 in late fall or winter. I wanted (wishing really) to afford the webber carb set-up from someone like "TWM" their "V-8" kit but, I can't afford 6-7 grand when all' said & done so, I've heard good & bad about Holleys " 1000 commander 950 system" I think with this system I'll have to modify it to my Edelbrock RPM intake. Questions: who else makes this system besides Holley & Edelbrock ? Whos is better ? Anyone make a complete, intake & injection set-up ? Anything cool & different out there tha won't cost & arm & leg ? Any advice & opinions will be appreciated !
Thanks,
Kev

Have a look in OZCOBRA'S gallery if you want something different. He has this system for his small block and I have it for my big block. Looks great, but not sure how much it would be in the USA.

Andy.

funfer2 Hi Kevin build your own system and save 4-500.00 dollars. FAST make a top of the line brain for your car. It is very flexable. Heres my system Accell 1200 cfm throttle body. Speed-pro brain, new name is FAST. GM sensors come with the system. I have a wide O2 sensor because of the supercharger. You will need a intake manifold of single plane, I have a torker it's the easyest to work on. Kinsler sells the injector bosses. They sell injector bulk rails. Pressure regulator to control the fuel. 1 line for pressure one for return. Get a 255 liter pump and this will feed a larger motor than you will have. 1/2 line pressure and 3/8 line return to the tank. This will fit under a stock hood. It is a little more in depth than this, If you want to talk call me after 8:00 pm est time and I will fill you in on all the other things on a FI system or go to a good book store and buy the Fuelinjection book and read it for basic info. 732-254-3536 got to go Rick Lake

Kevin, all you need from there is the injectors and fuel pump and regulator. I know you can get those for far less than the $1250-$2250 you are allowing. But if you feel the need to spend that much I will put a special fuel pump, reg and a matched set of injectors together for you

Wayne, so your saying that your manifold, carbs, rails & stacks for 4750, + the injectors, pump & regulator. What would be the apx.rice ? I'm trying to find the best system for the cheapest price I can. Your system is my dream induction so, I must try my best to to get it done ! I'm just a old single carb man & honestly, don't know about the webber's, tunning ect. My buddy does & between you, him & myself, we can figure something out ? Any help & advice you can give in details......I will owe you my friend !
Thanks,
Kev

Default Hey Wayne.

Nice system Mate....How much good olde Aussie componenty is in that system of yours?.

I know the Aussie 302 system is just fantabulous and wondered if the FE system is just as good and if it utilises the same componentry, save the manifold of course.

You all take care
