Question Valve Covers For 427 So??

From all the photos I've seen, 427 S.O. should have the chrome valve covers with the oil fill coming through the intake manifold.
The engine I'm building will use the Edelbrock RPM manifold with no oil fill provision so I will need valve covers that have an oil fill and cap. That's the problem----does anyone offer a chrome valve cover with an oil fill already in place? If not, I suppose I could drill one out-OR- I could go with one of the cast "427 COBRA" valve covers I have seen on Holman-Moody's website, although this is not correct. Any ideas? I'm also concerned about valve cover height to clear a set of COMP roller-rockers. Will the stock height suffice or is that a problem area?
Many thanks--Dandy Don

If your talking about the pentroof chrome covers you can order those from Cobra Restorers and request breathers to fill the oil with.

Some did some didn't. Pent roof covers are correct for any 427. There were also OEM 427 Cobra and 427 Lemans valve covers which were made from aluminum and are widely reproduced today.

I have a brand new in the box set of Pentroofs here in my garage, if you want them, let me know and I'll shoot you a price. And there we're a few different set of covers available back in the day, chrome, painted, and the alloys were all available, maybe not on a Cobra, but on the 427's. Let me know if you're interested.
