Maybe it's time to play, but I had the 6K at the Fling cuz I only had 900 miles on the entire car! Think I'll go to 6100.

I don't know how anyone at one of these cam company's can tell someone how much a new camshaft will help over another camshaft without testing it. Picking up 60 ft/lbs is pretty wild with any camshaft. The reasone for the solid street rollers is so that you can run less spring pressure and this in turns makes the solid lifter live longer. These lobes are very mild aswell so that the valve train will not float with this lower spring pressures. They are not ussuallyr recommened for high rpm's. Com Cams has just came out with a stronger set of roller lifters that are pressure feed to the roller for longer life on the street and track. I love a solid roller as much as anyone and we do them all the time for the street/strip engines we do. It is just a known fact that the solid lifters will not last like the hydraulic rollers and this one reason you have never seen Detriot install in a production car.

Dammit, you mean I ain't gonna get hundred thousand miles out of this basturd, Keith? And I suppose 20mpg's out of the question too? Next thing ya know, you're gonna tell me I gotta pop the damm hood and flip them doggone valve covers off and play with dem little touchy-feely gaugers.
