C3AA bellhousing + centerforce clutch
Hi and Happy Thanksgiving,
Today I tried to put a new dual friction centerforce clutch in the bottom of my bellhousing (C3AA) and it binds up on the drivers side just below the boot hole. Has anyone else had this problem? I used some pressure and a good starter to be able to get the clutch seated down to the flywheel thinking that a depressed, seated clutch would solve my problem, it still is binding up on the flywheel. This is the old style bellhousing with the starter alignment drive housing the length of the bell housing. Has anyone else experienced this ploblem? And you fix please. Right now my plan is to remove the flywheel over the top of the clutch and grind the problem area away.
Thanks,
Bob Buckley
