Default 390 fairlane motor mounts

I am trying to install a 390 where a 302 used to be, I have the FE "D" shape mounts so which way are they supposed to mount to the engine mounts and do I need different frame mounts or do I need to do anything to them??? And I thought the biggest problem was trying to line the headers up???Haha Any help or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Default What year Fairlane?

I have the Ford parts manuals and can look up what you need but need to know what year and what trans the car had.

Default OK

..unless the car is a convertible you need motor mount C6OZ-6038-G RH and C6OZ-6038-H LH. These are available from NAPA, they can cross the numbers. You will also need the frame brackets C6OZ-6028-A RH and C6OZ-6029-A LH. These are NOT available from Ford but you may find them NOS ($$$$) or in a yard. These are the same for all Fairlanes with 390/427/428 from 1966 through 1969 and so should be able to be found. I will look up the tranny mount info and post it.

Default ok

I just talked to my cousin out in California and he tells me the frame mount for the small block is different from the big block mount. So does anyone have a frame mount for a 69 Fairlane?
