Default Blue Thunder Intake Manifold

Is anyone out there familiar with or using the Blue Thunder dual quad medium riser dual plane intake manifold?
If so do you like it, hate it, no big deal? Looking for feedback and info.
Thanks boys

M.

I purchased that manifold from Tony Branda two years ago. First 427 had two Holley 450's on it and it run just fine. Recently received a complete engine from Southern Automotive (Bill Parham) and they reused the Blue Thunder, now with two Holley 600's , as we felt we needed a vacumm on the secondaries. The 450 cfm carbs. are race carbs (a little hesitation if you snapped on them hard). I polished the manifold with a wire wheel, buffed up real nice. Either set up the manifold went on perfectly, no gaps - no leaks. I'd buy another.

I put my cash down on one, those things are NOT cheap. Can you give me a little more detail in the polishing techniques you used? Polishing bars, steel wire wheel or brass etc. etc..........Thanks

Keith Craft,
Cool of you to respond and even better is that I purchased the manifold from your company, looking forward to getting my hands on it.

Lineslinger,
I used a steel wire brush wheel on an electric drill - that's all. Just lots of work or love ; depends on your point of view. I'll take a picture this week end and post next week.
