Crank pulley
I have an OEM 427 harmonic balancer. It has a single groove pulley as part of the harmonic balancer .I want to add another pulley groove to the crank harmonic balancer matching up with the outside belt position pulley on the coolant pump. The reason is to move the single belt alternater out from the block by using the outside belt position on the coolant pump and crank pulley if I can get one.I need a single groove pulley to bolt to my harmonic balancer .Help!
I emagine a single groove pulley ,probably sheet metal that would bolt to my harmonic balancer. The belt spacing would make about 5/8" diffrence getting my alt away from the head.Somebody have something like this to sell?
I tried a ballancer that the machinst gave me it had a two row pulley but it was a seperate cast-machined OEM peice that wouldn't mix with mine.
Looks like I'm looking for a mid to late sixties harmonic balancer . (That's when power steering came into popularity).neutral balance for a 427.will accept bolt on belt pullies.I'll need the two belt groove pulley also.
