Question FE Motor Mounts

I am pulling the engine and making some changes with the help of this forum but I don't know what I can do for New Motor (427 FE co)Mounts ?
I have been over most of the old post looking for a solution. I checked with my suppliers and none of them have a good solution. I don't want to re-invent the wheel here. HELP !

Any good auto parts house has 427 motor mounts. They can be found here by part number by searching 427 motor mount. I'd give you the number but my Palm ate it taking 3 years worth of Cobra data with it.

If that fails I saw a guy with 19 pair on e-bay. They looked really nice (not off shore crap) for $32. each.

Well I see you have a SPF. Don't they have the mounts available? Are they the same as the OEM ones? G.

The part numbers are 2240 and 2241. You can buy them at most any parts store.

The mounts don't care if it is a 352 ,390,406, or a 427 . what design are your mounts now? one style goes from 50's through 62 two bolts into engine and two studs into the frame each side. somwhere in 63 they changed to a flater three bolt pattern on the engine and one (I think) into the frame . I'm not sure how long that style lasted as I could not afford that new a car at that time and then I got married and It didn't matter.

I just purchased a set of motor mounts for my Superformance with a 427 Genesis block. I got them from Southern Automotive for about $31.00. I think the brand of the mounts was by Pioneer. They seemed to be well made and fit in the car without any problems. Be sure to get the correct stands form mount to frame from Superformance.

I did a search earlier when I changed my mounts to see if there were new and improved materials.Ended up with OEM.But I did make some heatsheilds to keep the header heat from the mounts.
