Anyone make Billet alternator bracket kit for the FE ?????
Is there anyone out there thats making a billet alternator bracket kit Like March makes for just about every other engine except FE? I like the looks and the use of a tensioner rod.

There's a company called C.R.A.P. --- seriously, that does.

thanks! I had planned on ordering their block plate for the back of my intake. Never explored the site to see that they made the bracket!
Just looked at it and it's close to what I want but I want to try and find a set up with a tensioner bar like March uses. If I can't find that, this is the best one I've seen so far.

I have a piece of CRAP on mine. I like it, not billet really but polished stainless plate.
The problem with billet aluminum on an FE is there isn't enough room with the alternator in the standard position for the bracket, the FE alternator bracket is flat, the alternator has to line up with the pulley, etc. The same is true with the tension rod. Not enough depth to keep things lined up with a standard pulley.
March makes an underdrive pulley set #1910.

The Kirkhams and Gessford have nice ones as well. I thought this would be an easy item to find. I was wrong. I went with the Kirkham one.

I just got two C.R.A.P. pieces, a breather cover and a carb return spring bracket. Well made stuff, but, as mentioned, stainless.

Dennis,
Amazingly, no. But, I will get you some. They are CNC aluminum copies of the ones you will find at Finishline though. Don't forget to get the spacer as well.

Yes, except they are nice and shiny (as opposed to painted).

Does the spacer space the water pump pulley / alternator out to allow them to clear?
