Steel Shim Head Gaskets
Ford Muscle Parts used to offer a steel shim head gasket, C3AZ-6051-B that claimed to raise compression by 1/2 point because it was so thin. .050 for standard gasket vs. less than .030 for the steel shims. (I'm reading directly from a Muscle Parts catalog).
Anyone used this lately?
Is it still available?
How about leaks?
Thanks.
