Default Alum Cammer heads

Anyone making alloy heads for cammers? What other parts are needed for a conversion onto a sideoiler block?

Dove makes them rather infrequently. I've heard there are a few other player's about to come in to the market.
You would need the timing cover, timing cover back plate, chain guides, chains, tensioners, rockers, shafts, cams, gears, intake manifold, gaskets, pistons, valves, valve covers, dip stick tube, water pump, fuel pump, external oil drain back lines or drill the block and misc. bolts.
Are you trying to piece one together?

It would be an interesting project if new parts were used. I did hear mentioned that Shelby had some cammer heads in the pipeline on another thread but nothing more has been said about it. Perhaps somebody else could shed some light on this?

I am starting an all aluminum cammer project right now. Hopefully I will have the heads soon. I have a complete cammmer that will supply some of the parts needed. I will be using the Pond block and Dove heads. Should be fun!

Hey Rob,

You've been "starting" that project for months now. Probably just as well because you would need to change your login name when it's done.
