Default Clutch fork/slave cylinder set up help!

Geatings from the U.K.

I am building a Dax Cobra with a 390 FE stroked to 426ci, Lakewood scattershield and Tremec 600. I am ready to drop in the engine/trans but need advice on what clutch arm/pivot and slave cylinder to use, and where to get them from.

I understand that my set up will need a puller type slave mounted on the tramsmission side.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are several brands of slave cylinders that are readily available including Wilwood, AFCO, Girling, and Tilton. Most speed catalogues carry some of these brands. Also, some of the Cobra's around here have found several factory brands that will work and are available through a local parts house. The fork my require a bit more research. The good new is that any FE should work fine (352 cu in - 428 cu in V8). Maybe someone else will have one they are willing to sell you.

Got mine at Pegasus Racing. Works well and was easy to fabricate into place.

May I suggest you work out the hydraulic math before you select a master.

Just a suggestion.

Try Mike Forte at http://www.fortesparts.com/ he is a Tremec dealer and can set you up. Very good customer service too.
