steep driveway - buzzer

I have a fairly steep driveway (75 yards long), sometimes I think I hear a buzzer about half way up the driveway (just after the steepest part - 30 degree slope). Maybe just buzzing ears from the headers? Could it be an oil pressure, pick up warning? A little worried as I just purchased a home in the country with just as steep driveway, but it's 200 yards long. Dangerous to engine life, or not, if I keep it under 2000 rpm for the time it takes to climb the driveway? Buzzer only goes off going uphill (I think, Cobra hearing, never used earplugs).

Any thoughts?

ez - Check your brake fluid. Your SPF probably has a low brake fluid warning buzzer (mine does), which might be activated on a hill if the fluid reservoir is a bit low.

I concour with the rest of these guys...it's doubtful an oil starvation problem, the pans are made to keep oil near the pickup.

Of course a quick glance at the oil pressure gauge would confirm actuall pressure, good or bad.

Is this an 'electric' buzzer or some kind or a strange 'buzzer like' sound your hearing? Few of us have electric 'warning buzzers' I would think...

cwizard was right - low brakefluid buzzer was installed on my early SPF. Much better than oil pressure/pickup issues. Thanks all.
