Default Surge tank outlet

Can someone tell me what engine/car combo used the expansion/surge tank with the water outlet on the driver's side? I need to find one with the outlet on the drivers side. Thanks a lot.

I guess I took the cheap route and unsoldered my passenger outlet tank and flipped the tank and resoldered. I also added a 1/4" spacer at the thermostat housing to be able to space the assembly away from my MSD distributor cap.
I added a small hose fitting to the tank because I am using a "original style" Fluidyne Cobra radiator. I believe it is some kind of overflow line.
Working great

If you're interested, I still have a new Dove aluminum expansion tank which I bought and never put on the car. It's been sitting on the shelf for a couple of years. It has been modified to put the outlet on the driver side. If this sounds like something you think may work, drop me an e-mail.

Thumbs up Gessford!

I just bought a shinny new black one from George at Gessford Mach. Arrived in 4 days! George is a pleasure to deal with, I couldn't be happier.

P.S. If you find a used one, look closely, they're know to leak!

DU:

I'm not ignoring your e-mail. I've tried a couple of times to reply and it keeps coming back undeliverable. I tried using your club link, let me know here if you didn't get it.

I needed one ASAP and bought one, a stainless steel unit, from Southern Automotove. My email address on the forum isn't right and I can't seem to get it changed. I did email you with my correct address.
