Long term engine storage

I've got my engine ready to install, but at this time no car to install it in.
The motor has been fired up on a startup stand and has a little less than an hour of run-in time on it, mostly to make sure the cam got some proper break-in (inner springs were not installed for run-in) and the leak factor dealt with.
So all is now good with the motor. Now it sits on a stand in my garage. I have installed the inner springs and loosened the valve train to where it is sitting loosely on the rocker studs with zero tension on the rocker arms or valves.
The original 'run-in" oil is still in it as is the the oil filter.
I put magnets at the drain plug area of oil pan as well as the bottom of the oil filter.
Can someone offer some advice as to what my next steps should be? Its going to be awhile (months) before I am able to start this motor again but I am trying to avoid any storage/sitting problems during downtime.

Well first it a shame not to be able to use it NOW. For our spare race engines we would back off the valve rockers so it does not sit with springs compressed and valves open. A squirt of oil in each cylinder and then replace the spark plugs. The plugs in bottom of block near pan rail are replaced with petcocks so coolant can be drained from block easily.
I might be tempted to rotate the crank each month or so just to keep seals moist. Compression will leak past rings without valves open as you bar it over. You could also give it to a buddy to run the dog snot out of it until you are ready for it.

I was told by an old ford engine builder to squirt marvel mystery oil into each cylinder and turn it over by hand prior to long term storage. It seemed to work fine, no problems after storage.

If its only 2 months, get a desiccant bag - throw it in a heavy duty contractor bag and seal it around the complete engine.

Any longer than 2 months, add oil to cylinders, do bag trick above and turn motor over by hand every other month.
