Default Oil Pan Info

Other than the $50 difference in price, can anyone tell me the difference between a Moroso #20607 and a Canton 15-810

Is one preferred over the other on FE's in a Cobra?

Thanks

Paul

Paul, those of us who run Canton pans usually use the roadracing version. It all depends on what you're going to do with the car, but you don't have to roadrace to benefit. The roadrace pan has trap doors & baffles to keep oil around the pickup.

Whatever you do, do not buy the aluminum canton pan. It is a piece of junk. I went with their aluminum pan for my car and it is horrible. The flange does not fit the block right and is missing the two rear corner holes.
I have one of their steel pans for another car and it is nice.

If the aluminum pan is that crappy, why not contact them to make it right?

I had the pan fixed so I can use it. I did contact them and they said that is how they make it. They also said they never had any complaints. Do a google search and you will find complaints! It is a shame the flange is done so bad, the rest of the pan is nice, which is why I decided to fix it and use it.
