Call Southern Automotive. They will likely have some.

Try e-bay 427 ford, parts and acc
momarkmach1 Try e-bay under 427 ford, parts and access. Are you looking for single plane or dual. Other question, Tunnel wedge intake ? Tunnel port is that, MR heads get MR intake. Rick L.

I do monitor ebay for FE Ford Goodies like most of us , I Missed out on a tunnel wedge intake a few weeks back as someone made a deal to end the auction . The intake that I seek is Ford part # C8AX-9424-A , it is a single plane , dual four made for the medium riser heads . I believe it was only offered over the counter as a racing manifold . It is supposed to get the medium riser right up with the high riser and even damn close to the tunnel port except for the last 600-800 RPM . It resembles the tunnel port intake very much with the exception of the obvious port shape at the head /intake mating surface . Thanks

It's clear that you want an original, but if you have no success, Jim Dove makes one. I have it and pics are in my gallery.

And DSC sells them. www.dscmotorsport.com
Dove bought much of the old Ford tooling and I'm pretty sure this version is from the original Ford casting.

I'm still unclear on the difference between tunnel wedge and tunnel port. TP pics I've seen, the oval ports are huge and require matching intake\heads. I assume the tunnel wedge also requires matching intake\heads and the ports are larger than a high riser but smaller than a TP? Some pics of the intake ports would be nice (Wedge).
The TP has ports that flow around brass tubes housing the push rods. Not so with the Wedge?

E here's a Dove from DSC on ebay item # 110079576096. The Tunnelwedge can be used with medium and lowriser (with a port mismatch on the LR) heads. It more or less the same top as the tunnelport but goes into a MR base. Pushrods retain the normal position as other FE intakes. Dove also makes a highriser version of the tunnelwedge (for your HR bud!!) that can be seen on the DSC site. No one seems to post pics of the TW ports tho!! Sorry...but I can send you a bunch of tunnelport pics if you like!!

e-bay link isn't right...
Found this pic on carlsfordparts.com. Yup, it appears to be a 'wedge' instead of an oval intake. This particular pic is a high riser tunnel wedge listed for $950. A medium riser tunnel wedge listed for $750.
Hmmmm, tempting to buy that high rise tunnel wedge, looks MEAN!!

OK Guys ,
Intake no longer needed , I worked out a More than Fair deal with Carl Binius at Carls Ford on a ORIGINAL FORD TUNNEL WEDGE unit and it even still has the factory saftey wire on the lower plate bolts ! He also made me a great price on a pair of 660 Holleys that Holley is remaking for him with correct part #'s and todays manufacturing improvements . He even threw in a fuel log and 2x4 linkage to close a deal , Have no doubt , Carl knows the FE Fords . Thanks For all the tips and direction .
