390- Edelbrock RPM intake and valley pan?

Hello guys. I know some FE guys here have the RPM manifiold, and was wondering how many of you installed the valley pan under the intake....or can the valley pan even be used with the RPM manifold?

Yes, you can use the valley pan with the Edelbrock RPM manifold.

The valley pan under the intake keeps hot oil off the bottom of the intake and that is a good thing

Thanks, Chris. I was looking through your pics. Very nice ERA. Beautiful color too, and real close to the shade of blue im looking for. Where did you get the FE aluminum pulleys?

Mike- thanks. I didnt see your post til after I posted the second time. Yea, I was told on the FE site that the valley pan also helps distill any oil vapor, which supposedly helps with the blow-by to the valve covers/pcv valve. I was hoping I could use it, but it's never mentioned in the info pages that comes with the intake.
