I think there might be one or two out there...I recall seeing it somewhere. For the cost and effort though, you'd get just as much "wow" factor by spending less money on a quad of Webers on top of an FE. If you're thinking about one of those SOHC kits on the other thread, I have to think that after all the machining, getting a crank, rods and pistons, grinding the cams, and then adding distributor, carbs, custom headers, starter, etc., you will be deep into $20K before you can even turn the key.

Default SOHC in Superformance

You would have to modify the footboxes and steering system, possibly other things as well; ERA knows the mods necessary and can deliver a kit all set up. I do not know if anyone has sorted out the requirements for an SOHC in a Superformance.

Default Call Dennis Olthoff

If anybody would know the answer to this, it would be Dennis Olthoff.

Here's his website
http://www.olthoff-racing.com/

He's a guru when it comes to SPF cars.

It's my understanding that the newer # SPFs have been modified to allow installation of the 4 valve Mod motor. If I'm not mistaken that lump of stuff is bigger in every dimension, except maybe length, than the SOHC engine.Soooo... I would think you could fit one in a later SPF with less issues.
