Default Limited hood clearance!

I am currently using a 428 police interceptor manifold in my car because of limited hood clearance. It is the same height as the cast iron 428 manifold. Is there another manifold with a similar height and better performance I could use?

Blue Thunder is too high, I have one on my other car! How tall is the Sidewinder compared to the Ford PI or the 428 CJ for that matter?

I think the PI intake will be as good as it gets with your hood clearance issues.

Has anybody actually measured the difference in hight between let say a PI manifold, a Sidewinder, a CJ, and maybe a Blue Thunder and Edelbrock PM.
This would be good info for everybody to use instead of speculation.
Thanks,

it all depends on which company replica you have. I've got the blue thunder with 2 750 holleys with k & n filters on both got 1 and half clearance from hood

Actually, I mean from the base of the manifold, This is for an original AC Automobile. It originally came with a cast iron 428 manifold, I installed a PI manifold, and it is a 1/4 inch from the hood, I am looking for something aluminum, ford with bigger port than the PI.
